Throwing the Book at Education
Dr. Curtis W. Johnson is co-author with Clayton Christensen and Michael B. Horn of Disrupting Class: How Disruptive Innovation Will Change the Way the World Learns. The recently published book applies Christensen’s theories of “disruptive change” to produce surprising new ideas, strategies and success stories in the field of education that are of interest to business leaders, entrepreneurs, parents, and teachers as well as school administrators. Dr. Johnson will address the Create West Virginia Conference on the topic of “Taking Innovation Seriously as an Education Strategy” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, at Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
